Hero Moto Corp is hard at work cranking out a rash of new products. The brand, which recently announced a marginal increase in overall sales for February 2014, is all set to launch newer versions of its existing line-up.
Hero has been at the top of its game for longer than we can remember, however, the brand is also aware of the fact that the competition is getting stiffer by the day and it needs to rejuvenate its product range to strengthen its lead in the Indian two wheeler market.
Having showcased its entire range of models at the 2014 Auto Expo, Hero has created considerable excitement amongst potential buyers. Now, the brand is all set to launch newer versions of some of the models namely, the new Karizma, Karizma ZMR, Xtreme and the Pleasure starting this month.
The new 2013 Karizma and ZMR were unveiled late last year. The bikes feature both cosmetic as well as mechanical updates. The new Xtreme, on the other hand, is an updated model based on the CBZ Xtreme. The former comes with a new digital console, side stand down indicator with automatic ignition cut-off and restyled body panels.
Lastly, the company will launch a refreshed version of its female-centric scooter called the Pleasure. The highlighting feature on this model is the new integrated brake system which is similar to the Hero Maestro’s combi-braking mechanism but this only works when the rear brake is applied.
