- New Hero premium showrooms to open this year
- Karizma, Xtreme 160R will be sold at these showrooms
- 100 such showrooms will open this year
Hero MotoCorp is planning to go the Maruti Suzuki way. The company will open new showrooms across the country for its upcoming premium motorcycles.
This development was revealed at the launch event of the new Xtreme 160R 4V. The first 100 showrooms are expected to open in the next few months in the major cities of India, and the Xtreme 160R 4V will be the first bike available. The next-generation Karizma 210 is expected to be launched in September, and this bike will also be sold at the new premium showroom. It is still being determined whether the soon-to-be-launched Harley-Davidson X440 will be sold via these showrooms. Now, creating showrooms to sell Hero bikes and the most affordable Harley makes sense for the brand. Through this route, the company will have its presence in multiple cities, which will help the new Harley X440.
The current Hero MotoCorp showrooms cater primarily to Splendor and Passion buyers. As a result, the overall showroom’s feel and vibes are not premium. Even the salesperson is not entirely motivated to sell bikes like the Xpulse 200. These new premium showrooms will likely have trained professionals and design and aesthetics that will help the brand position itself as a premium motorcycle brand.
