- Will rival the TVS Ntorq 125
- Rides on 14-inch alloy wheels
- Gets full LED lighting package
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the Xoom 125R sporty scooter at the EICMA 2023. Once launched in India, the Hero Xoom 125R will compete against the TVS Ntorq 125 and the Suzuki Avenis 125.
The design of the Xoom 125R is an extension of the Xoom 110, but it features a beefier bodywork coupled with a lot of cuts and creases and sporty styling. What adds to its sporty character is that it rides on 14-inch alloy wheels.
The Hero Xoom 125R comes loaded with features like a full-LED lighting package, first-in-segment sequential LED indicators, a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation.
Powering the Hero Xoom 125R is a 125cc engine, which will be paired to a CVT automatic. Although Hero is yet to reveal its power figures, we expect the motor to develop slightly higher power than the Hero Maestro Edge 125. As for its pricing, the Xoom 125R is likely to cost around Rs. 85,000 (ex-showroom).
