Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch a new variant of Xoom in India. According to leaked documents, Hero will introduce the Xoom Combat Edition, details of which have been leaked online.
The new Hero Xoom Combat Edition will get a new silver and black paint scheme, which is inspired by fighter jets. The scooter will also feature attractive fighter jet-inspired decals on its body panels. The Combat Edition is expected to be based on the ZX trim and isn’t likely to get any feature upgrades over the said model. The ZX variant comes packed with a projector-LED headlamp, fully digital instrument cluster, cornering lights, H-shaped LED DRLs, 12-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a USB charging port.
Powering the Hero Xoom Combat Edition will be the same 110.9cc, air-cooled motor that pumps out 8.05bhp at 7,250rpm and 8.7Nm of peak torque at 5,750rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT unit. The scooter comes equipped with an engine start/stop function, dubbed as i3s in Hero’s speak. Although the official price isn’t out yet, the Xoom Combat Edition is expected to cost Rs. 1000 more than the ZX variant.
