-To get new colours
-May get new features
-Launch expected around the festive season
Hero MotoCorp is riding high on the success of its recent launches like the Mavrick 440 and at the same time has plans to update its existing range of scooters and motorcycles. The Hero Xoom is next in line to receive updates, following its launch in January 2023.
Hero plans to introduce a new set of colours on the Xoom, most likely during the festive season. The Xoom is currently available in five colours- Matt Abrax Orange, Polestar Blue, Sport Red, Pearl Silver White and Black. Expect Hero to add at least two new colours to the list.
Besides new colours, we might see Hero add new features or add additional features from the top-spec to the lower variants of the scooter. The Xoom is available in three variants- LX, VX and ZX. The ZX trim is the most feature-loaded, with diamond-cut alloy wheels, cornering lights and a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Xoom is powered by a 110.9cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 8.05bhp at 7,250rpm and 8.7Nm at 5,750rpm.
The scooter ushered a new direction by Hero MotoCorp in the scooter segment. The company ditched its traditional and conservative designs to come up with a youthful and attractive scooter. We liked the Xoom for its peppy engine and nimble handling during our road test.
The prices of the scooter begin at Rs 71,484 and go up to Rs 79,967, ex-showroom, Delhi. In terms of competition, it goes up against the Honda Dio.
