Hero MotoCorp added another model to Xoom’s lineup, the Combat Edition. With its introduction, the brand has as many as four Xoom trims on sale. But what does each one have to offer? Here is the answer.
Xoom LX
This is the base model of the Xoom scooter and also the most affordable one. Its asking price is set at Rs. 71,784 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The LX gets drum brakes at both ends and misses out on the cornering lights too. Moreover, Hero offers it in a single paint scheme of Pearl Silver White.
Xoom VX
The VX sits above the base model and it is priced at Rs. 74,917 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The VX comes with a fully digital instrument console, Hero’s i3s technology, a USB charging slot, and an underseat light as well. You can purchase the Hero Xoom VX in three colours – Polestar Blue, Pearl White Silver, and Black.
Xoom ZX
The ZX used to be the top most variant of the Xoom until the Combat Edition was launched. However, it still gets more features than the LX and VX models. The ZX also gets a fully digital console and benefits from LED cornering lights, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, a front disc brake and i3s. The asking price for the Hero Xoom ZX is set at Rs. 79,967 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Xoom Combat Edition
The Combat Edition is the most expensive and loaded version of the Xoom scooter. It gets all the features that the ZX trim offers along with a new paint scheme of silver and black with contrasting graphics. The asking price for the Hero Xoom Combat Edition is set at Rs. 80,967.
All the Hero Xoom variants get the same 110.9cc engine that makes 8.05bhp, use the same suspension and get the same design.
