- XPulse 200 4V makes 18.8bhp and 17.35Nm
- Priced at Rs 1,28,150
- Available in three colours
Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the new XPulse 200 4V in the Indian market at Rs 1,28,150. The biggest change to the adventure-tourer comes to the engine.
The new variant for the motorcycle uses a four-valve setup instead of the existing model’s two-valve design. This enhances the power and torque output figures. The 200cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine makes 18.8bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The two-valve variant, for reference, makes 17.8bhp and 16.45Nm of peak torque.
Apart from the mechanical upgrades, Hero MotoCorp will also offer new colour schemes on the new Hero XPulse 200 4V. The motorcycle is available in three new colour options – Trail Blue, Blitz Blue, and Red Raid. Other changes include revisions to the switchgear that now comprises an integrated starter and engine cut-off button. The rest of the features, however, are similar to the two-valve variant, and the new Hero XPulse 200 4V continues to use an LED headlight at the front, an LED taillight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, and a single-channel ABS.
Hero MotoCorp would also offer the Rally Kit along with the XPulse 200 4V. The optional kit brings a longer travel suspension, flat saddle, knobby-pattern tyres, and a new side-stand to the motorcycle.
