The new Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition has been launched at Rs. 1.67 lakh and bookings for the same can be made from 18 December onwards. This special edition motorcycle features a number of special bits that distinguish it from the regular Hero Xpulse 200 4V.
Starting with the design, while the body panels are the same as the regular bike, the special edition bike gets Dakar inspired livery. There’s a prominent sticker of the iconic Dakar logo on the fuel tank, special Hero graphics on the side panels.
In terms of the hardware, the bike has an adjustable telescopic front suspension with 250mm travel and a ground clearance of 270mm. In addition to this, it has three ABS modes to adjust the level of ABS intervention.
The Xpulse 200 4V is powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 18.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm. This engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The bike rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear, wire-spike wheel setup while braking duties are performed by a disc brake at the front and at the rear.
While bookings of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro Dakar edition will begin on 18 December, deliveries are expected to begin soon after.
