Hero Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition deliveries commence

- First batch of vehicles delivered to their owners

Hero MotoCorp has commenced the deliveries of its limited-edition motorcycle, the Xpulse 200 4V Rally. The Indian two-wheeler maker delivered the first batch of the motorcycles to their respective owners at a special event. Now, the Rally Edition was only available for booking on the company’s online sales platform.

This edition of the motorcycle was launched in the Indian market at Rs 1,52,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it nearly Rs 16,000 more expensive than the standard model. For the price premium, the Rally Edition received several upgrades over the standard Xpulse 200 4V.

The hardware upgrades includes a taller and fully-adjustable suspension setup. The front forks pack 250mm travel while the rear suspension is rated for 220mm travel. The Rally Edition also benefits from an extended gear lever, longer side stand, and dual-purpose tyres. Apart from the hardware updates, this edition also gets Rally Code graphics, Rally Edition decals on the front fender, and CS Santhosh’s autograph on the fuel tank.

The mechanical specifications, on the other hand, remain unaltered and the Rally Edition retains the BS6-compliant 200cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine from the standard motorcycle. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to deliver 18.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.

The company is expected to commence the bookings for the second batch of motorcycles very soon. The official details, however, are not available yet.
