Hero MotoCorp has announced that its limited-edition Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition has already been sold out. The Rally Edition was launched in the Indian market at Rs 1,52,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it nearly Rs 16,000 more expensive than the standard model.
This limited-edition motorcycle was available for booking on the company’s online sales platform – eSHOP from 22 July, 2022, 12 pm onwards till 29 July, 2022, 12 pm. However, Hero MotoCorp has confirmed that the bookings for the motorcycle are now closed. The company refused to share the details about the total number of units that were available for sale in the country.
The Rally Edition received several styling and hardware updates over the standard Xpulse 200 4V. The hardware upgrades included taller and fully-adjustable front forks with 250mm travel and a fully-adjustable rear suspension with 220mm travel. Further, the Rally Edition benefited from an extended gear lever, longer side stand, and dual purpose tyres. The styling revisions included exclusive Rally Code graphics, Rally Edition decal on the front fender, and CS Santhosh’s autograph on the fuel tank.
The mechanical specifications were identical to the standard Xpulse 200 4V. Thus, the Rally Edition was powered by the same BS6-compliant 200cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produced 18.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
While the Rally Edition is not available, buyers can still opt for the Rally Kit for the Xpulse 200 4V which is priced at Rs 46,000.
