- Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 India launch soon
- Listed on the official website
- Will produce slightly more torque than BS4 version
The HeroXpulse 200 BS6 will be launched in India soon as the manufacturer has listed the motorcycle on its official website along with the BS6-compliant Xpulse 200T.
While Hero Motocorp is yet to announce a launch date for the motorcycle, it has revealed the specifications of the BS6 Xpulse 200. The fuel-injected, 199cc engine now produces 17.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.45Nm at 6,500rpm. In comparison, the fuel-injected BS4 version churned out 18.1bhp at 8,000rpm and 17.1Nm at 6,500rpm. Furthermore, the BS6 engine also gets oil-cooling, unlike the previous water-cooled unit.
Moreover, as we had reported earlier, the Xpulse 200 BS6 also gets a rerouted exhaust to fit a larger catalytic converter and a new, larger bash plate. Apart from these changes, the adventure-touring motorcycle is likely to remain the same.
The fuel-injected BS4 version of the Hero Xpulse 200 was priced at Rs 1.06 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the updated version is likely to cost a premium of Rs 5,000 over that price tag.
