- Hero Xpulse 200 4V expensive by Rs 2,200
- Two-valve variant price remains unchanged
Hero MotoCorp has increased the prices of most of its two-wheelers starting this month onwards. Joining the list of such models is the Xpulse 200 4V which has become more expensive by Rs 2,200 and the motorcycle is now priced at Rs 1,32,350. Interestingly, the prices of the lower-spec Xpulse 200 2V have remained unchanged and it continues to retail for Rs 1,23,150 (both prices are ex-showroom).
The Hero Xpulse is an ideal stepping stone for riders who want to get into the world of off-roading. The main factors which make it beginner-friendly are its extremely light kerb weight of 158kg, compact dimensions, and adventure-centric components. With long-travel suspension at both ends, dual-purpose tyres, and high ground clearance of 220mm, it can take on even the most treacherous of terrain.
Powering the Hero Xpulse 200 4V is a 199.6cc, oil-cooled, four-valve engine that churns out 18.8bhp of power and 17.35Nm. Meanwhile, the two-valve variant of the bike registers lower performance numbers at 17.8bhp and 16.45Nm. Besides being versatile, the Xpulse 200 is also modern with features like full-LED lighting, a fully-digital instrument cluster, and Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and message and call alerts.
