The much-anticipated Hero Xpulse 200 adventure bike is finally here! Priced at Rs 97,000 for the carburetor model and Rs 1.05 lakhs (both prices are ex-showroom) for the fuel-injected trim, the Xpulse is the most affordable adventure motorcycle available in India. While the pricing sounds enticing, let’s take a look at the pictures of this new Hero offering from the launch.
The Hero Xpulse boasts of a quintessential adventure motorcycle stance with long-travel suspension, spoke wheels, single-piece seat unit and a high-set exhaust can.
The beak-like front fender, black knuckle guards and the windscreen accentuate the ADV look of the motorcycle.
Although the Xpulse has a raw adventure bike appeal, it packs in a bunch of modern features such as the round LED headlamp which bears a ‘Hero’ badge at the centre.
Behind the headlamp is a Bluetooth-enabled fully-digital LCD instrument cluster consisting of a gear position indicator, trip meter and service reminder, alongside the basic information.
For accommodating the rider, the motorcycle sports a single-piece seat unit which sits at the height of 825mm. Notably, hidden under this seat is a USB charger.
The rear section of the Xpulse features a rack which is accompanied by bungee hooks for mounting luggage during long rides.
The Hero ADV rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres which enhance its off-road prowess.
The suspension setup consists of telescopic units with 190mm of travel at the front and 10-step adjustable monoshock with 170mm of travel at the rear.
The Xpulse 200 is powered by a 200cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor which does duty on the Xtreme 200R as well. This unit belts out 18.4bhp of power and 17.1Nm of torque.
Hero has launched the Xpulse 200 in five colour options including matte green, pearl fadeless white and matte axis grey for the FI model along with sports red and black for the carburetor version.
