Hero MotoCorp has announced the availability and price for the Rally Kit for the XPulse 200. The complete kit, sans the Akrapovic exhaust, will set you back by Rs 38,000. The Akrapovic exhaust system will not be sold in India to ensure that the kit is road-legal. In this post, we bring you a detailed look at the kit through images.
Hero MotoCorp unveiled the Rally Kit at the 2019 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. The kit converts the 200cc Hero MotoCorp bike into a completely off-road focused motorcycle. Hero MotoCorp, however, has homologated the kit for the road to have a wider acceptance.
The new, flatter seat offers more space for the rider to move front and back, depending on the situation.
The ergonomics are improved with handlebar risers that offer better reach to the handle while standing on the footpegs.
The gear lever is extended for better shifts while wearing heavily padded off-road riding boots.
The suspension setup gets adjustability function and longer travel (250mm front/220mm rear). The kit also offers improved ground clearance (55mm over the stock motorcycle) for better off-roading capabilities.
The rally spec Maxxis tyres will dig deep into the gravel and offer a good amount of traction while off-roading. The tyres are wrapped around the stock, wire-spoke wheels.
