- Hero MotoCorp prices to increase from 4 January 2022
- Maximum price hike will be up to Rs 2000
- Prices of other brands might increase too
The potential buyers of Hero MotoCorp products should make their purchase before the year-end. That's because the company has officially announced the increase in prices of all its two-wheelers in India starting from 4 January 2022 onwards.
In case you’re wondering about the reason for this hike, the company has stated in its release that it’s being done to ‘partially offset the impact of steadily increasing commodity prices.’ And this could be an indication that a price hike from other manufacturers too is in the offing, maybe not with a public announcement like Hero. Fortunately, Hero has also clarified that the maximum hike will not be more than Rs 2,000 and the amount will vary based on the model.
As for the brand’s portfolio, Hero’s line-up comprises a variety of products, starting from a 100cc Splendor Plus to a 200cc adventure touring motorcycle, the Xpulse 200. The latter recently received a major update in the form of a four-valve head for better top-end engine performance. We have comprehensively reviewed the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and you can read our review here.
