Hero has launched the Xpulse 200T in India with a sticker price of Rs 94,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The bike derives its name and most of its underpinnings from its adventure motorcycle sibling; the XPulse 200 which costs Rs 97,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, the XPulse 200T is more touring-focused. It gets alloy wheels borrowed from the Xtreme 200R that are shod with road-biased tyres along with a conventional front mudguard and side exhaust. Nevertheless, it gets a luggage rack and a tall-windscreen to aid its touring abilities.
The XPulse 200T is powered by a 200cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, carburetted engine that produces 18.4bhp of power and 17.1Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are taken care of by 37mm telescopic front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile braking is done by a 276mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc for the rear assisted by a single-channel ABS unit. In terms of features, the XPulse 200T boasts of LED headlamp and tail lamp along with a full digital instrument cluster that is Bluetooth-enabled.
The bike is available in four colour schemes of matte grey, red, black and gold. Bookings and deliveries for the XPulse 200T will commence soon in Hero Motcorp dealerships across the country.
