- Hero’s 200cc motorcycles become more expensive
- Prices increased by Rs 3,000
- Applicable from 1 April 2021
Hero has increased the prices of the 200cc offerings in its portfolio that includes the Xpulse 200, the Xpulse 200T and the Xtreme 200S. These bikes have become more expensive by as much as Rs 3,000 and the price hike is effective from 1 April 2021. Notably, Hero had already made an announcement about this price hike a few days back.
The new prices (ex-showroom, Delhi) of these motorcycles are as follows:
Hero Xpulse 200: Rs 1,18,230
Hero Xpulse 200T: Rs 1,15,800
Hero Xtreme 200S: Rs 1,20,214
Despite the price hike, two-wheelers from Hero continue to be some of the most affordable bikes in their class. For instance, the Xtreme 200S is the cheapest fully-faired motorcycle available in India. On the other hand, bikes like the Suzuki Gixxer SF and the Yamaha YZF R15 V3 are substantially more expensive, despite incorporating smaller engines. As for the Xpulse 200, it is India’s most affordable adventure motorcycle that is perfect for riders venturing into the world of off-road riding.
Besides Hero, Honda and Yamaha have also increased the prices of most of their two-wheelers in India and the new prices are applicable from 1 April 2021.
