- No major changes to the design over the BS4 model
- Gets an oil-cooled engine
Hero MotoCorp has launched the BS6-compliant XPulse 200T in the Indian market at an ex-showroom, Delhi price tag of Rs 1,12,800. The updated model carries a substantial price increase over the BS4 model that was sold at Rs 95,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Similar to its off-road-spec variant, the XPulse 200, the BS6-compliant XPulse 200T, too, benefits from an oil-cooled system.
The updated 199.6cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor produces 17.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.15Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The BS4 version, in comparison, made 18.1bhp at 8,000rpm and 17.1Nm at 6,500rpm.
While the mechanical specifications have changed, the styling and cycle parts remain similar to the BS4 version. Thus, the XPulse 200T BS6 continues to feature an LED headlight and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation. The motorcycle will be available in three colours – Sports Red, Panther Black, and Matte Shield Gold.
The shock absorption setup includes conventional telescopic front forks and a seven-step adjustable rear mono-shock while the anchoring tasks are handled by disc brakes on both wheels. The safety-net is handled by a single-channel ABS.
