- Hero showcased custom XPulse 200T at 2019 EICMA
- Sports a new paint scheme and decals
- Remains unchanged in all other aspects
While the Xtreme 1.R concept stole the show for Hero MotoCorp at the 2019 EICMA, the company also showcased a custom model of its touring motorcycle, the XPulse 200T, at the event in Milan.
Although the custom 200T retained the styling of its production counterpart, the new colour scheme and other design highlights caught our attention. Firstly, the motorcycle featured a gloss black paint scheme as its base colour, which is not available on the production model. This was complimented by the swanky, golden-coloured decals on its fuel tank and rear cowl while the yellow stripes on the wheels and yellow stitching on its single piece seat made for attractive embellishment to its overall styling.
Besides the cosmetic changes, the custom model was identical to its production version in all other aspects. The XPulse 200T is a part of Hero’s ‘X’ family. It is powered by a 200cc, air-cooled, carbureted motor which churns out 18.1bhp of power and 17.1Nm of torque. Hero has loaded the motorcycle with modern features such as all-LED lighting along with a fully-digital instrument cluster which can be paired with smartphone to access turn-by-turn navigation.
While the custom XPulse 200T was just for showcase at the EICMA, we can expect it to be launched as a special edition model.
