- Powered by a 210cc single-cylinder engine
- Features LED illumination, a 4.2-inch TFT and smartphone connectivity
- Gets long travel gaitered front forks and monoshock
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the long-awaited Xpulse 210 at the EICMA. The bike had been under development for a while and has now debuted. Here is what it gets.
Following up the typical Xpulse design language, the new 210 is also a proper dual-sport motorcycle. It gets a round LED headlight topped by a transparent visor and flanked by LED turn indicators, a tubular handlebar, and a single- piece seat.
Hero has powered the Xpulse 210 with a 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-valve engine. It makes 24.6bhp and 20.7Nm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The increment in the engine capacity and addition of the sixth gear should translate to good highway riding capabilities and more meat in the higher rev range.
Further, the Hero Xpulse 210 also gets full LED illumination along with a 4.2-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity as well. The cluster also packs other readouts like a speedometer, odometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, and more.
The Xpulse 200 4V has been serving as a go-to option for beginner off-road enthusiasts. Now that the Xpulse 210 will be replacing it, we expect it to do the same. Its hardware comprises long-travel telescopic front forks with 210mm travel and a monoshock with 205mm travel. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These are mounted on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in tubed block pattern tyres.
