- To be powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled motor
- India launch likely in early 2025
- Likely to feature similar styling as the Xpulse 200 4V
Adventure motorcycle enthusiasts have been praying for a bigger Hero Xpulse for a long time. And, it seems their prayers are likely to be answered soon. A test mule of what appears to be a more powerful Xpulse has been spied testing ahead of its launch in the country.
But, there is a caveat. This isn’t the Xpulse 400. Instead, it is the upcoming Hero Xpulse 210, and will likely be powered by a Karizma XMR-sourced 210cc, liquid-cooled motor. The Xpulse 200 has been a successful ADV for Hero MotoCorp, but adventure-seekers have been demanding a more powerful adventure bike. The Xpulse 210 should mitigate that as the 210cc engine makes 25.15bhp and 20.4Nm of peak torque on the Karizma XMR.
What makes us believe this indeed is the Xpulse 210? Well, if you look closely, the test prototype is seen running on conventional telescopic forks and a smaller, more cost-effective swingarm. Even the overall design silhouette is similar to the Xpulse 200 4V. Meanwhile, the Hero Xpulse 400 test bikes have been spotted running on USD forks and a bigger box-type swingarm.
The Hero Xpulse 210 test mule is also seen equipped with pannier boxes, possibly to store the testing equipment. The Xpulse 200 feels adequate for the city, but the engine loses breath on the highway. The Xpulse 210 with its more powerful engine should be able to address this issue to a greater extent.
As far as the official launch goes, we expect the Hero Xpulse 210 to be launched in India in early 2025. Interestingly, Hero is also working on the Xpulse 400, but unfortunately, that project has been delayed further by a few years.
