- Likely to borrow the 210cc, liquid-cooled motor from Karizma 210
- Could carry over features from the current Xpulse 200 4V
- India launch soon
Hero MotoCorp has been extensively testing its upcoming flagship ADV, the Xpulse 210. The bike has been once again spotted testing but this time in the northern region, enroute Khardungla. The bike is set to debut soon and here is what we know about it.
On the design front, the Hero Xpulse 210 appears bigger and more muscular compared to the Xpulse 200. The 210 gets a round LED headlight, a small visor up top, slim, rugged, and purposeful build, and it appears to have larger dimensions than the current model. We expect Hero to offer features like an LED headlight, a fully digital display, smartphone connectivity, ride modes, and ABS as well.
The Xpulse 210 is expected to use the same motor as the current Karizma 210. It is a 210cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 25.15bhp and 20.4Nm for the Karizma. We expect slight changes in the tune of this motor for the Xpulse 210 application. It will be linked to a six-speed gearbox. What we expect from the bigger Xpulse 210 is better highway riding capability in terms of higher top speed, and adequate grunt at the higher revs since the current Xpulse feels out of breath.
As seen here, the hardware will include gaitered long travel telescopic front forks and a monoshock. Its braking setup will comprise a front and rear disc mounted on spoke wheels with tubed tyres. Hero could also offer adjustable suspension and a rally kit for the Xpulse 210 separately as it does currently.
Hero MotoCorp could debut the Xpulse 210 in the next few months. We expect it to cost notably more than the Xpulse 200, thanks to the modern engine architecture, and other changes.
