- Hero Xtreme 125R priced at Rs 95,000, ex-showroom
- Uses a 125cc, air-cooled engine
- Comes with interesting features
Hero Motocorp has launched the new Xtreme 125R at the Hero World 2024. The sporty commuter is priced at Rs 95,000 for the IBS and Rs 99,500 for ABS variant. (both pricing ex-showroom)
The design of the Xtreme 125R is unlike most commuters on the market as it offers a sporty take to it. The front end gets a low-slung full-LED headlamp with a design similar to the Xtreme 200S’ unit. Even the fuel tank and rear section look buff and is completed with the split-seat setup. That said, Hero is offering the Xtreme 125R in a choice of three colour options- blue with silver, black and red with black.
Now, powering the motorcycle is a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churns out 11.5bhp and 10.5Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The Hero Xtreme 125R rides on 37mm telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear while braking is done by a front disc and the option of a drum or disc at the rear.
As for features, the Xtreme 125R offers full-LED lighting and an interesting-looking LCD screen. The brand is offering the motorcycle with single-channel ABS and IBS- which is Hero's version of CBS. Well, if you are looking for alternatives to the Xtreme, the closest is the TVS Raider 125 that is priced around Rs 95,000 for the single-disc variant.
