Hero MotoCorp is celebrating its 100 million cumulative production milestone with the launch of special edition motorcycles. Among the list is the new Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition that has been launched in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1,08,750. In comparison, the rear drum brake version of the motorcycle is available at Rs 1,03,900 while the disc variant retails for Rs 1,06,950.
The 100 Million Edition of the 160cc naked roadster version gets a special, dual-tone paint scheme that distinguishes it from the standard model. The dual-tone finish of red and white colour is visible on the headlight mask, fuel tank, and rear panel.
The design and features, on the other hand remain identical to the standard Xtreme 160R. Thus, the 100 Million Edition gets full-LED lighting, a fully-digital console, a hazard switch, a side stand engine cut-off switch, and Auto Sail functionality.
The mechanical specifications, too, are similar to the standard Xtreme 160R. Linked to a five-speed transmission, the 163cc, single-cylinder engine makes 15bhp of maximum power and 14Nm of peak torque. The Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition is available in single variant – dual-disc brakes. It rivals the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
