It now makes more power, gets USD front forks, and also comes with smartphone connectivity for one of the variants. Hero offers the new Xtreme 160R 4V in three trims: Standard, Connected and Pro. The asking price for the Xtreme 160R 4V’s variants varies by a notable amount. This difference is a result of hardware, features, and other factors. As per the above table, the Xtreme 160R 4V’s asking price is the lowest in Chandigarh and highest in Bengaluru. These prices are inclusive of the RTO, registration fees, and other charges.
Hero has powered the Xtreme 160R 4V with a 163cc, single-cylinder motor that makes 16.6bhp and 14.6Nm. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. Hero offers the base model with conventional telescopic front forks and a monoshock whereas the top-spec trim comes with USD front forks. As the name suggests, the Connect variant is the only one with smartphone compatibility.
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V rivals the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 in the 160cc segment.
