The new Hero MotoCorp Xtreme 160R is likely to arrive very soon as the company has commenced the test ride registration process on its website. Interested buyers can fill their contact information on the company’s website to take the test ride of the new Xtreme 160R.
The motorcycle was supposed to be launched in March this year but the arrival was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Xtreme 160R was showcased earlier this year, and most of the details are already available on Hero MotoCorp’s website. The motorcycle features an aggressive streetfighter design that is complemented by premium hardware such as full-LED lighting, full-digital display, muscular fuel tank, edgy tank extensions and sleek rear section.
The hardware on the motorcycle includes telescopic front forks and rear mono-shock to perform the shock absorption tasks. The braking setup comprises of petal-type disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net includes a single-channel ABS. The new Xtreme 160R is powered by a 160cc, air-cooled engine with a fuel-injection system that delivers 15bhp at 8,500rpm and 14Nm at 6,500rpm.
The motorcycle will rival the Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Yamaha FZ V3 in the Indian market.
