- Gets styling upgrades in the form of new paint theme
- Features Bluetooth connectivity with the Hero Connect app
- Priced at Rs 1,29,738
Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the new Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 with Hero Connect in the Indian market ahead of the high-demand festive season. This new variant of the Xtreme 160R range has been launched at an ex-showroom (Delhi) price tag of Rs 1,29,738.
The styling upgrades on this variant come in the form of a new paint theme that brings red highlights on the telescopic forks, frame, and pillion grip. A similar shade is used for graphics on the headlight mask, fuel tank, rear panel, engine cowl, and rim tapes. This version also gets knuckle guards for added protection. The design, on the other hand, remains unchanged and the motorcycle continues to pack a single-pod headlight, muscular fuel tank, step-up seat, side-slung exhaust, and split-style pattern for the alloy wheel.
The feature list benefits from Bluetooth connectivity that works with the Hero Connect smartphone application. This feature provides access to functions such as tow away alert, geo fence alert, parked location, trip analysis, vehicle start alert, live tracking, speed alert, and topple alert. The topple alert sends an app notification and SMS to the registered mobile number and emergency contact number.
This variant retains the BS6-compliant 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 14.9bhp and 14Nm of peak torque. The bookings for the new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth 2.0 are open across the country and the deliveries should start soon.
