Hero Motocorp has launched the Xtreme 200R at the 2018 Motobike Show in Turkey under the name Hunk 200R.
While the bike gets a new name, it continues to sport the same sharp design language. It gets edgy tank shrouds and LED DRLs, although a simple ‘Hunk’ decal replaces the loud decals that feature on the Indian version.
Powering the Hunk 200R is a 200cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 18.3bhp and 17.1Nm of torque, same as the Xtreme 200R. The biggest change on the bike however, is the inclusion of an electronic fuel-injection system.
Hero unveiled the Xtreme 200R in India at the 2018 Auto Expo with bookings commencing next month. On the other hand, pricing of the bike has not been revealed, although we expect it to be priced around Rs 90,000 to Rs 1.05 lakh. It will compete with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V in the Indian market.
