Following its tradition, Hero MotoCorp has finally updated the Xtreme 200S with the 4V treatment just like it did to the other models over the past few months. The semi-faired motorcycle has received quite a few tweaks in its latest avatar, so we’ve compared it with its predecessor to highlight what’s new on the Xtreme 200S 4V.
The 2023 Xtreme 200S 4V may have carried over the same sporty design as the older model, but it now comes draped in a much flashier yellow and black paint scheme. Then, the sleek fascia and the overall cuts and creases you see on the bike have been retained.
One of the major changes comes in the form of the updated engine. The new model is powered by a 199.6cc, four-valve, air/oil-cooled mill that dishes out 18.9bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm. On the other hand, the previous model is equipped with a 199.6cc, two-valve setup, making 17.8bhp and 16.45Nm. Both get the same five-speed gearbox.
Apart from that, Hero has also tweaked the ergonomics of the new Xtreme 200S. It gets a slightly raised unit than the 2V model. This has been done to offer a more commanding position and better handling.
The new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is priced at Rs. 1,41,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the other hand, the older bike costs Rs. 1,35,360 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes the 4V model about Rs. 6,000 more expensive than the base model.
