- Hero Xtreme 200S becomes expensive
- Price increased by Rs 2,000
Hero MotoCorp has increased the price of its fully-faired motorcycle, the Xtreme 200S, from this month onwards. The motorcycle is now expensive by Rs 2,000 and costs Rs 1,30,614 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Notably, the price hike hasn't brought along any other change to the bike.
Although the Xtreme 200S boasts a sporty styling, it's a relaxed and comfortable offering, suitable for everyday commuting. The motorcycle gets an LED headlight and an LED tail lamp while the turn indicators are bulb-type. The instrumentation set-up comprises an LCD dash that offers Bluetooth connectivity and has a gear position indicator.
Powering the motorcycle is a 200cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder mill that churns out 17.8bhp of power and 16.4Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a five-speed gearbox. As for the cycle parts, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. Meanwhile, braking is handled by a single disc at both ends.
