- Likely to be called the Maestro Xoom 110
- Will be loaded with features
- Looks sportier than the standard Maestro
Hero MotoCorp’s upcoming scooter details have been leaked during a dealer-exclusive event. It’ll likely be a 110cc offering and called the Maestro Xoom 110. Here’s what we know about it.
The leaked details show that the Maestro Xoom 110 will be more youthful and have a sportier design than the standard model. It’s equipped with an X-shape LED light at the front and sharp tail light.
Hero will probably use the same 110cc single-cylinder motor in the Maestro Xoom 110 that powers the base model. It dishes out 8.04bhp and 8.7Nm. The Maestro Xoom will also benefit from Hero’s i3s tech which tends to make the engine more fuel efficient.
On the feature front, the scooter will boast LED illumination and a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. You can also expect it to get a USB charging port. Hero will equip the Maestro Xoom 110 with telescopic front forks, a single rear shock, a front disc and a rear drum brake setup. Unlike the Maestro Edge 110, the Xoom will ride on a 12-inch front and rear wheel setup.
Hero will likely launch the Maestro Xoom 110 in India very soon and you can expect it to be priced around 75,000 (ex-showroom). It’ll rival the Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter, and the Honda Dio.
