- New Karizma CE001 limited edition bike revealed
- Gets lots of carbon fibre
- Only 100 bikes will ever be made
Hero MotoCorp took the wraps of an exclusive motorcycle at the Hero World 2024. The bike is called the CE001 and only 100 units of it will ever be made and sold.
The CE001 means commemorative edition and has been designed to pay tribute to the founder of the company Dr Birjmohan Lal Munjal. This is the first time the brand has done something like this where they developed a limited edition model for Indian consumers.
The CE001 is based on the Karizma XMR but gets a host of expensive components and cycle parts. The most important aspect of this bike is the semi-fairing, which has been inspired by the original Karizma. A lot of the bike is made out of carbon fibre and also equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust. As of now, there aren’t any details on the engine of the bike. This 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is likely to churn out the same 25bhp 20Nm of performance as the standard Karizma XMR. However, the limited edition could perform better due to the weight savings from the use of carbon fibre.
Hero MotoCorp hasn’t revealed the price of the CE001 yet, but expect this bike to cost quite a lot. It is expected to go on sale in July and will be sold only online.
