HMSI updates its scooter with Honda-Eco-Technology; inaugurates new technical center

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has updated their three scooters, the Activa, the Dio and the Aviator with a new technology called Honda-Eco-Technology (HET). HMSI claims that with this new technology, all the three scooters will have an increased fuel efficiency of 60kmpl.

With the new technology, the company also has added new colours to two scooters. The Dio gets a pearl yellow whereas the Aviator gets metallic Royal Gold colour.
 

At the event, the company also inaugurated a new technical center, which is spread across 10,000 square metres at their Manesar plant. This new center will house over 200 engineers who will work for company’s future products. The company is currently developing four new products, which includes both, scooters as well as motorcycles.
