Honda has unveiled a café racer concept called the 300TT Racer at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show in Thailand. Based on Honda’s 300cc single-cylinder platform, the 300TT Racer is inspired by the retro racing motorcycles of the yesteryears.
The Honda 300 TT Racer is based around the same underpinnings as the CBR300R and CB300F and is powered by a 286cc single cylinder engine. However, this where the similarities end. The Honda 300 TT Racer adorns completely different looks with a sculpted fuel tank, short rear section, sporty single seat and minimalistic bodywork. The flat clip on handlebars and the rear set footpegs offer a sporty riding position. It also gets a megaphone exhaust and an LED headlamp setup. Honda has also replaced the conventional telescopic front forks with a beefier inverted forks setup.
To be honest, the Honda 300TT Racer is one of the most distinct small-capacity concepts that Honda has unveiled, one which we would really like to see on the road. But as it stands now, the 300TT Racer seems like just another model that Honda will never build.
