The Honda Activa 125 has been priced at Rs 52447 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in two variants- the STD variant and the DLX variant. The former has been priced at Rs 58, 156 and the latter has been fitted with alloy wheels, front disc brake and combi braking system.
The Activa 125 is powered by a 124.9cc four-stroke engine that produces 8.6bhp@6500rpm and 10.12Nm of torque@5500rpm. It goes up against the Suzuki Access and the Mahindra Duro in the 125cc segment.
The Activa 125 was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo in January and will be the third model to take up the name of the Japanese automaker’s highly successful range of budget scooters. While Honda has dominated the 100cc scooter segment for a long time now with the standard Activa, it has never had a product in the 125cc segment and this model of the Activa should change its fortunes.
Honda will officially launch the Activa 125 for the Indian market in Mumbai on April 28 and we will be there to give you all the details as they emerge so tune into to BikeWale this Monday.
