Most of the manufacturers are in the process of updating its two-wheelers to meet the upcoming norms. Honda is no different. After launching the updated CB Shine SP, the company has updated its highest-selling model – the Activa.
The 2017 version which is named as the Activa 4G has been spied in a dealer’s stockyard. While there has been no cosmetic changes seen on this model, it does gets an automatic headlamp on (AHO) unit. The headlamp switch on the switchgear is no longer present and has been covered with a plastic. There’s also a new Activa 4G stickers on the side as well, to differentiate it from the other Activa models.
There are no details about the 110cc engine on the Activa 4G but we believe it will be BS-IV compliant with marginal change in power figures. We will only get the official figures when the scooter is launched in India.
We’re expecting the Japanese manufacturer to launch the Activa 4G in the next few days. There will be an increase in price as well, however, we expect Honda to ask just a couple of hundred rupees more over the outgoing model.
