Honda unveiled the Activa 5G with a few changes to keep it up to date. While prices have not been announced we expect it to sell at a premium of a few thousand rupees from the current model. The Honda Activa 5G retains a conservative design although with a revised bodywork and two new colours- yellow and red.
Honda has added a touch of chrome to the revised front apron to lend a premium feel to the Activa 5G.
The Activa 5G retains the headlamp design of the previous model although it is now a full-LED headlamp unit.
It sports a part analogue-part digital instrument console that includes ‘Eco mode’ lights as well as service-due indicator lights.
It also gets two hooks in the front and a seat opener switch situated next to the ignition key slot.
The Activa 5G continues to get steel wheels and drum brakes with CBS (Combi brake system) setup.
Fuel tank capacity on the Activa 5G is unchanged and it continues to get a 5.30 litre unit.
Powering the Honda Activa 5G is the same 109cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 8hp and 9Nm of torque.
