Honda has unveiled the Honda Activa 5G, the 2018 version of India’s highest selling scooter.
It retains its conservative design although the Activa 5G now gets slightly revised bodywork with bits of chrome and a new LED headlamp. It also gets a semi digital instrument cluster that is new for 2018. However, the scooter remains the same mechanically. It is powered by a 109cc air-cooled single-cylinder that delivers 8bhp and 9Nm of torque through a CVT transmission.
The Activa 5G is expected to be priced the same as the outgoing model at Rs 51,460 and will rival the TVS Jupiter, Hero Maestro Edge and the Yamaha Fascino. Just like the Activa 4G, we can expect the Activa 5G to remain the highest selling scooter in the country.
