- Honda Activa 6G available in eight colours
- New special edition model in two paint schemes
The Honda Activa was introduced in the year 2000. And not long after its inception, the scooter went on to change the brand’s fortune and became a household name in India. This year, the iconic product completed 20 years and Honda commemorated the occasion by launching the new 20th anniversary special edition iteration of the Activa 6G.
The new special edition model comes in two colour options, which has taken the total count of available paint schemes to eight. The standard and deluxe trims of the scooter are available in Glitter Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Black, Pearl Precious White and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
As for the 20th anniversary edition, it can be had either in Matte Metallic Brown Metallic or Pearl Nightstar Black colour. This version also gets additional cosmetic elements such as gold and silver stripes running from the front apron to the tail lamp. Furthermore, there’s an embossed logo and a golden Activa badge on the side.
The Honda Activa 6G is powered by a 110cc, fuel-injected motor which churns out 7.68bhp of power and 8.79Nm of peak torque. It rides on a 12-10-inch steel wheel combination suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking is taken care of by a drum at both ends with a combined braking system. As for its rivals, the Activa locks horns with the TVS Jupiter and the Hero Maestro Edge 110.
