Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is offering the Activa 6G in a choice of six colour options.
The list includes Pearl Spartan Red, Black, Pearl Precious White, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, and Glitter Blue Metallic. The Activa is available in two variants- Standard and DLX that are priced at Rs 63,912 and Rs 65,412 (ex-showroom) respectively.
The only difference between the two is the inclusion of an LED headlamp on the top-spec DLX variant. As compared to the previous model, the Activa 6G gets a sleeker rear section and hints of chrome on the front apron.
Apart from these subtle tweaks, the Activa 6G looks identical to the Activa 5G. While the 109cc, single-cylinder engine is also similar, the unit is now fuel-injected. It puts out 7.7bhp and 8.79Nm; a decrease of 0.3bhp and 0.3Nm as compared to the BS4 model.
Moreover, the Activa 6G also rides on a larger, 12-inch front wheel and comes equipped with telescopic forks at the front. The rear continues with a 10-inch wheel and mono-shock suspension. In terms of features, the Honda Activa 6G has an ACG silent starter motor, engine start-stop switch, a double lid external fuel-filler cap, and a decent 18-litres of under-seat storage. The Honda Activa 6G competes against the TVS Jupiter in the country.
