After teasing it for a week, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have finally launched the Activa 6G Premium Edition in the country. The top-of-the-line variant gets a few changes to set it above the rest of the variants. So here we tell you what’s different on the new Activa Premium Edition.
Pricing and variants
Honda has priced the Activa 6G Premium Edition at Rs 75,400, ex-showroom, Delhi. This puts it at a premium of Rs 1,000 over the DLX version which is priced at Rs 74,400. On the other hand, the base version will cost you Rs 72,400.
New colours
Now, the design and bodywork of the Activa 6G Premium Edition remains the same as the other available variants. However, to set it apart, this version gets three new colour schemes. These are called Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marsal Green Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue.
Added styling elements
Adding to the new colours, the Activa 6G Premium Edition sports golden-finished wheels and a gold-plated garnish on the front apron. Even the Activa logo is gold-finished with ‘Premium’ printed under it. Moreover, the scooter’s inner panels are done in a dark brown shade that complements the new paint options it comes with.
Unchanged hardware and mechanicals
With no changes to its internals or powertrain, the Activa 6G Premium Edition is powered by the same fuel-injected, 109cc engine that produces 7.79bhp and 8.84Nm.
