Honda Activa 6G: What else can you buy?

Honda retails the Activa 6G at Rs 64,464 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the standard variant. It is also available in a DLX variant which costs Rs 65,954. However, if you are looking for options in the same price range, there are six motorcycles and scooters to consider. Here is what the list looks like-

TVS Jupiter 

Honda Activa 6G Jupiter

The Honda Activa’s biggest rival is the TVS Jupiter which retails at Rs 61,449 for the base variant. The prices go up to Rs 67,911 if you wish to choose the top-spec Jupiter Classic. Powering the scooter is a 109cc engine that produces 7.8bhp and 8Nm.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 

Honda Activa 6G Maestro Edge 125

Hero offers the Maestro Edge 125; a 125cc family scooter at the price of the 110cc Activa. Pricing starts at Rs 67,950 for the alloy wheel with a drum brake version and goes up to Rs 70,650 for the ‘Prismatic Colour’ option. Hero has plonked in a 124cc motor that puts out 9.1bhp and 10.2Nm.

Yamaha Ray ZR 125

If the three conventionally-styled scooters weren’t up to your taste, Yamaha offers the sporty Ray ZR 125. The scooter gets edgy side panels and a visor that integrates LED DRL that complements its looks. The Ray ZR 125 uses a 125cc engine that is capable of producing 7.9bhp and 9.7Nm. Yamaha is offering the ZR 125 in three variants. The drum and disc cost Rs 66,730 and Rs 69,730 each. Meanwhile, the rugged-looking Street Rally version is priced at Rs 70,730.

Bajaj Pulsar 125

There are three motorcycles in this list, one of which is the Pulsar 125. Bajaj has priced the motorcycle at Rs 69,997 for the drum variant and Rs 74,118 for the disc version. Offered in a dual-tone grey paint with blue highlights, the Pulsar 125 sports the same design as its bigger sibling, the Pulsar 150. It comes powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 11.8bhp and 11Nm.

Honda CB Shine 

Honda Activa 6G CB Shine

The Honda Shine is the manufacturer’s highest-selling motorcycles in the country. Priced at Rs 67,857 for the drum version and Rs 72,557 for the disc variant, the Honda CB Shine gets conventional styling. However, the inclusion of chrome accents and bold graphics adds to its visual appeal. The Honda CB Shine uses a 124cc, single-cylinder motor that puts out 10.5bhp and 11Nm.

Hero Glamour i3S 

Honda Activa 6G Glamour

Hero offering in the price range of the Honda Activa 6G I the Glamour i3S with a starting price of Rs 68,900 for the drum version. It is also available with a front disc priced at Rs 72,400. Sporting flowing lines all over its bodywork, the Hero Glamour i3S is offered in four colour options- red, blue, grey and sports red. Powering the motorcycle is a 125cc, air-cooled engine which produces 10.73bhp and 10.6Nm.
