Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has forayed into the electric two-wheeler market with the debut of the Activa e: and the QC1. In this story, we have talked about the popular name, the Activa e: and its colour options.
Honda is offering the Activa e: in five colour options: Pearl Shallow Blue, pearl misty white, Pearl Serenity Blue, matte foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black. Overall, the scooter looks neat and has a clean design with large body panels. It doesn’t feature many cuts and creases and is quite family-oriented in terms of its styling.
The Honda Activa e: is powered by a pair of 1.5kWh swappable batteries that offer a cumulative range of 102km. It has a 6kW motor that can reach a top speed of 80kmph. The Activa e: has three riding modes: Eco, Standard, and Sport.
In terms of features, the Activa e: gets a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts as well as navigation. Meanwhile, the hardware for the new Activa comprises telescopic front forks and dual rear springs with a front disc and rear drum brake setup. These are mounted on 12-inch alloy wheels.
Honda has currently unveiled the Activa e: but its pricing will be announced in January followed by the deliveries in February.
