-Likely to be available in two variants
-Lower variant to get LCD unit
-Range expected to be 104km
The Honda Activa Electric has been teased again and this time around the scooter’s instrument cluster has been revealed. The teaser shows two types of instrument clusters, a TFT and an LCD. This suggests that the Honda Activa Electric will be available in two variants.
The higher variant will get a TFT display. It looks crisp and the layout looks neat. What the image also reveals is that the scooter has two ride modes- Standard and Sport. More importantly, the battery range at 100 per cent charge is 104km in Standard mode. This is in the same ballpark as the competition. Expect the range to drop to around 80km to 85km in Sport mode.
The top-spec Activa Electric will also get on-board navigation and music controls among other features. The base model will get a simple, colour LCD. It gets a readout for speed and the battery level as well as a trip meter. The scooter has a standard mode but there is no indication of there being a Sport mode as well.
The Honda Activa Electric will be the company’s first EV for India. The scooter will be unveiled on 27 November.
