Honda 2Wheelers India has unveiled a new variant of its highest-selling scooter, the Activa. Christened Activa Premium, this new variant of the 110cc scooter gets styling upgrades in the form of the new paint theme. While the company is yet to announce the complete colour list and the price of this new version, it has unveiled the product on its social media handles.
As seen in the photograph, the new Honda Activa Premium gets gold-coloured treatment to the wheels, apron-mounted garnishing, and the Activa badge on the body panel. Further, this variant also gets brown colour for footboard and seat cover. The updates are most likely limited to styling changes. The specifications, features, and hardware, on the other hand, are expected to remain similar to the standard model.
Thus, the new Honda Activa Premium edition should retain the 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 7.68bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.84Nm at 5,500rpm. The feature list, too, should remain similar to the standard Activa, and the Premium edition should pack an external fuel filler cap, analogue instrument cluster, engine start/stop switch, multifunction key slot, and an LED headlight.
The hardware, as seen in the photograph, includes telescopic front forks, a three-step adjustable spring at the back, and drum brakes on both wheels. This new variant of the Activa should carry a price premium over the standard model. We expect Honda 2Wheelers India to announce the prices very soon.
