- New NT1100 teased
- Based on Africa-Twin
- Might come to India
Honda has finally released some information on its upcoming touring motorcycle. The bike that is based on the Africa Twin is slated to be revealed to the world on 21st October.
The Japanese brand released a teaser video that showed some bits of this bike which is likely to be called the NT1100. The bike was seen with luggage boxes, a large windscreen and also a pillion. The TFT screen was also shown for a while and it resembles the ones on the Africa Twin.
The 1100cc engine on the NT1100 is likely to be from the Africa Twin. So will be the manual and DCT gearboxes. But we can expect the power figures to be different than the ADV. In terms of tech, we can expect the new NT1100 to get multi-level traction control system, riding modes and cornering ABS.
We are expecting the NT1100 will go against the Ninja 1000SX and if that happens, the bike is likely to come to India as a completely-built-up(CBU) unit.
