Honda has launched the CB Hornet 160R in two new paint schemes. Priced at Rs 82,095 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new CB Hornet 160R also gets auto headlamp on (AHO) feature.
The new paint schemes are similar to the ones available with the special edition CB Hornet 160R, which is still on sale. In addition to the black/green and black/orange, the CB Hornet 160R is now available in two metallic dual-tone paint schemes – red/white and blue/white. The older mono-tone paint schemes on the other hand, have been discontinued.
Powering the CB Hornet 160R is a BS IV-compliant 162cc single-cylinder engine delivering 15bhp and 14.7Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission. A rear disc brake and combi braking system (CBS) are offered as optional extras.
The CBS version retails at Rs 86,595 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Optional accessories include a decal set, wheel rim stickers and coloured bar ends. It competes with the Yamaha FZ-S Version 2.0 and the Suzuki Gixxer.
