Honda has rolled out a new cash back scheme for the CB Hornet 160R. Under this scheme, a student will be eligible for a direct discount of up to Rs 5,000 depending upon the highest percentage scored by him/her in an exam.
Honda has devised an algorithm to work out the amount of discount. The highest percentage scored by the student in any subject is multiplied by 50 to calculate the exact discount. For example, if the student scored 97 per cent in a particular subject, then the discount will be equal to 50 times the percentage, which works out to be Rs 4,850. All the student needs to do is present is his current year’s scorecard and a government ID. For obvious reasons, only those who have passed the 12th grade are eligible for this scheme.
This student reward program isn’t restricted to just the student, and any blood relative can also avail of the benefits. The student’s father, mother, sister or brother can also get up to Rs 5,000 off on the purchase of the CB Hornet 160R. The offer is valid on both, standard and CBS versions of the bike.
