Honda has unveiled the CB Hornet 160R Special Edition at the 2018 Auto Expo. The bike gets new graphics along with a full-LED headlamp. It also gets hazard lights but misses out on a kill switch.
The CB Hornet 160R also gets single-channel ABS as an option and will be available in four variants. These include- the Hornet Deluxe ABS (double disc brake setup with ABS), Hornet ABS (front disc brake with ABS), and Hornet CBS (front disc brake and CBS) along with a standard version which only gets disc brake only at the front.
However, no mechanical changes have been made and the bike continues to be powered by a 163cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 15.7bhp at 8500rpm and 14.7Nm of torque at 6500rpm. This unit is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
It retains the same styling as the previous model with its muscular fuel tank and aggressive stance. The CB Hornet 160R competes against the Yamaha FZ S V2.0 and the Suzuki Gixxer in the Indian market.
