- Honda CB Hornet 200R India launch tomorrow

Honda is all set to hop on the 200cc bandwagon as it will launch what is supposedly called the CB Hornet 200R in India tomorrow. The motorcycle has been teased recently revealing a couple of details about the bike.
Firstly, it gets a rectangular-shaped, blue backlit LCD display which is likely to show ample of information. The styling is evidently sharp with an angular design for the headlamp, fuel tank extensions and front fender. The video also shows that the headlamp will an LED unit. Expect the overall aesthetics to be accentuated by sporty decals.
In terms of hardware, the most interesting bit revealed in the teaser is that it incorporates premium upside down forks up front finished in golden shade. Notably, its cycle parts and engine are likely to be the same as those in the Honda CB190R which is available in a few international markets. This motorcycle is powered by a 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor which churns out 15.5bhp and 15.3Nm. However, the power figures of the India-spec model might be slightly different.
The Honda CB Hornet 200R will certainly be priced in the ballpark of Rs 1.20-1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete against the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and Hero Xtreme 200R.
